What's driving me...This is not always an easy question to answer because as you grow with age, maturity, and experience your motivation or what drives you changes greatly. Currently in this stage of my life I think that what has kept me motivated is my independence. Unlike most people I like the battle and struggle of life I like to have that feeling of accomplishment. Knowing that I can overcome obstacles is a huge to me. It would be unrealistic for me to say that anyone but myself provides me with any kind of drive because at the end of the day, it’s you that has to move forward and aim to achieve your goals. Some people say they have drive but always seem to be in the back seat. Take Control!!!
Throughout my life my parents were consistently there always willing to help me, support me, and comfort me. They gave me absolutely everything that they could. My mother would tell me all the time when I asked why they did these things, that she wanted to give me more then what she got as a child. That always stuck in my mind as I grew up because before my children I want to give something back to my parents that they could be proud of. I want to start something in my family I want to achieve greatness so that my future children will achieve Excellence. Although it has taken me a long time to decide what direction I want my life to go in I am glad to say that I have a clear idea of what I want to do with myself. I am currently 23 years old I am a dance instructor, I plan to graduate College ASAP, and after that I plan to continue my education in Pre-med where I will learn to become an anesthesiologist.
As of right now, since I contribute very much, I have helped in creating youth dance programs where we not only dance but build relationships, Study, Tutor, and train. I plan in my future to open up a center for under privileged children who do not have the resources and want to be doctors in the future. I know that kind of sounds farfetched but it is something that I will try to achieve. I truly believe that one of the greatest ways to contribute to people is letting them know there’s a helping hand.
I am happy to say that throughout my life I have learned never to take people for granted. i welcome all with open arms and 100% trust. I respect people and I am a very loyal person all i ask for in return is the same I am a firm believer in treating people the way you want to be treated. You never know what someone has to offer; sometimes one sentence a person will say can alter your life completely.
"Do just once what others say you can't do, and you will never pay attention to their limitations again."
